Duo On Hold After Bandmates Trump Shooting Remark

Jack Black Says Tenacious D Will Be Back

Duo on hold after bandmate's Trump shooting remark

Black says they'll return when the time is right

Actor and musician Jack Black has said his comedy rock duo Tenacious D will be back after they were forced to cancel their tour following a controversial remark by bandmate Kyle Gass.

Gass apologized for his dangerous joke about Trump assassination attempt.

Black said at the premiere of his new sci-fi movie "The House with a Clock in Its Walls" that the band is "on a break" but will be back.

"We're just taking a little break," Black said. "We'll be back when the time is right."

Tenacious D was forced to cancel their tour after Gass made a joke about assassinating President Trump at a concert in Boston.

Gass later apologized for the remark, saying that he was "just trying to be funny" and that he did not condone violence.
