Tempe's Healing Field Opens over the Weekend Leading up to 9/11 Anniversary

Honoring the lives lost on 9/11

Tempe's Healing Field, a powerful tribute to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, will open to the public this weekend. The field, located at Tempe Beach Park, will feature thousands of American flags, each representing a life lost that tragic day.

The Healing Field is a poignant reminder of the lives that were tragically cut short on September 11, 2001. Each flag represents an individual, a story, and a family forever changed by the events of that day.

A time for reflection and remembrance

The Healing Field is a place for reflection and remembrance. Visitors are invited to walk among the flags, read the names of the victims, and take a moment to remember the lives that were lost.

The field is also a place for healing. For many, visiting the Healing Field is a way to connect with others who have been affected by the tragedy of 9/11. It is a place to share stories, to offer support, and to find comfort.

A symbol of hope and resilience

The Healing Field is more than just a memorial. It is also a symbol of hope and resilience. The field is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope. It is a reminder that we can come together as a community to heal and to rebuild.

The Healing Field will be open to the public from Saturday, September 10th, through Sunday, September 11th. The field will be open from 8am to 8pm on Saturday and from 8am to 6pm on Sunday.
